What to Expect for your first visit
Your acupuncture session will typically begin with an initial 10-20 minutes consultation, followed by an acupuncture treatment. The consultation includes minimal paperwork with some in-depth questions. The Doctors will then meet with you and answer any questions you may have at that time. The goal of the consultation is to get to the root of your problem. It involves a tongue and pulse diagnostic assessment to assess your organs and overall health. Our Doctors will then prescribe an individualized treatment plan designed specifically for you. This will be followed by your personal acupuncture session that will last about 30-60 minutes. Your first session, along with most subsequent sessions will and may include acupuncture and other TCM methods such as cupping, electro-acupuncture, Tui Na, moxibustion, etc...., depending on the Doctors' determinations and findings at the time of your visit.
