Insurance and HSA/FSA Information
Currently, we are unable to bill your insurance company directly; however, some insurance companies will cover or reimburse you for some (if not most) of the services we provide in our clinic. We will provide all necessary paper work required (upon request) for you to submit your insurance claim. Both HSA (Health Saving Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) are able and will reimburse you for any acupuncture services provided in our clinic. According to IRS publication 502 and 213d, acupuncture expenses qualify for annual medical deductibles.
If you're uncertain about your acupuncture coverage under your current insurance plan, we encourage you to call your insurance provider and inquire about your current policy and acupuncture coverage, or you may simply go ahead and submit your claim and await approval.
